STADO Mesh is StratoFirma’s radio link layer. It carries command, telemetry, and video across a self-healing mesh — up to 10 km, encrypted, at high data rates — so a swarm stays connected even as aircraft move and the topology changes. In development.
For operators who need a resilient, encrypted link across a distributed fleet.
- ·Mesh networking — every node relays for the others, no single point of failure
- ·Up to 10 km encrypted data link
- ·High-throughput link for command, telemetry, and video
- ·Built to carry STADO missions across a distributed fleet
Full specifications for STADO Mesh are in preparation.
Self-healing mesh
Every node can relay for the others, so the network routes around a lost link instead of dropping the mission. As aircraft move, the mesh reforms on its own.
Encrypted over the air
The data link is encrypted — command, telemetry, and video stay protected as they move across the mesh.
Range and throughput
Up to 10 km of range at high data rates — enough to carry live control and video for a distributed fleet, not just short-range line of sight.
In development
STADO Mesh is in active development. The figures here are targets and will firm up as the link matures.
